Lil Lud Is Carving Out a Lane with “NewAge” Sound and Unmatched Grind

For Lil Lud, music didn’t begin as a dream — it started with a moment. That moment came when his close friend Boobie brought him to a professional studio. “That’s when I met my bro and engineer LMO,” he says. “That was the turning point.” From then on, music stopped being a hobby — and became a mission.

What followed were long nights, hard lessons, and a nonstop commitment to growth. “I had to grind,” he says. “LMO believed in me and helped me learn, but it took countless hours to get better — learning how to record, how to really craft a track. It wasn’t easy, but I never stopped.”

Now, Lil Lud is emerging with a sound that he calls “NewAge” music — a style built from real experiences, real hunger, and a focus on what’s next. “I want people to feel like anything is possible if you stay dedicated,” he says. “That’s what my music is rooted in — elevation.”

One of his most unforgettable moments in the studio came while recording “Marz” — a track that hasn’t dropped yet, but means everything to him. “When I laid that track down, I just knew people were going to connect with it,” he says. “Honestly, my favorite music right now is what I haven’t released yet. I’ve got some sh*t coming that’s gonna really show people where I’m headed.”

Though he’s open to future collabs, right now Lud is focused on building momentum with his inner circle. “I’m trying to come up with all my brothers,” he says. “We’ve got a lot of music on the way.”

His range as an artist comes from lived experience — giving him the ability to touch on different topics and constantly evolve his flow. “I’ve been through a lot, so I can write about a lot,” he says. “And I’m always pushing for something new.”

In a space where trends move fast and authenticity can get lost, Lil Lud stays grounded in the grind. His advice for anyone trying to break through? “Grind all day, every day.”

Lil Lud isn’t chasing a wave — he’s building one. And with “NewAge” on the rise, the best of what he’s got is still loading.
