The song is the first single from the new album ‘Power Up’
The AC / DC have released the video for Shot in the Dark , the first single from Power Up , an album that marks the return of the band after six years. Directed by David Mallet, it presents the band in its natural environment: a gigantic stage, entirely illuminated with red lights.
Shot in the Dark was released alongside the announcement of the group’s 17th studio album, produced with collaborator Brendan O’Brien, already working on Black Ice (2008) and Rock or Bust (2014).
Power Up is also the return record after one of the most difficult times in the band’s history, which dealt with the conviction of Phil Rudd, the hearing loss of Brian Johnson, the retirement of Cliff Williams and the death of Malcolm Young.
