Post Malone triumphed at the Billboard Music Awards that took place last night in Los Angeles. The Circles singer took home nine awards including Best Artist Ever, Best Male Artist, Best Rap Artist, Best Male Rap Artist, Multi-Stream Artist, Best Rap Tour.
It didn’t go bad either for Khalid (five awards including Best R&B Artist and Best R&B Tour), Lil Nas X ( Old Town Road with Billy Ray Cyrus is Top Hot 100 Song, Top Streaming Song and Top Selling Song) and Billie Eilish (best new artist and best female artist among other things).
As for performances, from South Korea, BTS sang Dynamite , Post Malone sang Circles and Tommy Lee with Tyla Yahweh, Alicia Keys proposed Love Looks Better , Sia took the stage for Courage to Change . Wolfgang Van Halen recalled his father Eddie, while Billie Eilish invited fans to wear the mask and vote. Lizzo appeared in a dress with the words “Vote” and addressed the audience saying that “if you are at home watching this show and think you have to change to feel good, know that you have to stay true to yourself”.
